That one time a bunch of us flew to Mexico for Josh and Kate's wedding... In mid-February when the weather tends to be particularly cold and wet, a bunch of us (approx. 31 friends and 13 family members) packed our bags and headed to sunny Chacala Mexico for Josh and Kate's wedding #whitejohnsonwedding.
People flew from Seattle, Minnesota, and New York to be there. We played on the beach everyday and drank margaritas, pina coladas, and beers. By night we partied at the "grotto" and most likely disturbed all of Chacala. There were hilarious stories told - I feel like I laughed non-stop for a week straight, we dealt with Chac Mool and it's glacial pace of serving you, the roosters from hell that did not let you sleep, the Chachalaca's, one gnarly boogie boarding accident, night swimming in the pacific, a superb Valentine's Day dinner, and most of all...one hell of an awesome wedding! It was the trip of a lifetime, and one that none of us will ever forget. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that I feel so lucky to have friends like this, and how enjoyable it was to be making those awesome memories in such a beautiful place.
